IQ Content Proxy is a secure content/transparent proxy server solution for Windows. This tool contains two of the company’s products that are IQ Reverse Proxy containing load balancer, Web Cache & Firewall and IQ Content Proxy containing ISP Connection sharer, Filter & Accelerator. This tool will let you share and accelerate LAN connections and yet keep you secure. This will provide complete content proxy solution for the web that helps share Internet connection among your PCs. It features filtering based on domain, location, header (for IM/P2P) and content. Filtering, content caching and transparent proxy server functionality includes kernel mode NAT/PAT as well as protection through DDoS, SYN and country firewalls. The tool has got a WAN load balancer that lets you share multiple Internet connections. It is equipped with fail-over features.

When transparent HTTP proxy is installed on the network gateway all the data going out of the port 80 will be cached/ filtered. Some of the other useful features include RAM/Disk caching, bandwidth throttling, local/NTLM authentication on URL rule basis, configurable GZip compression, etc. Multi-connections-per-thread architecture is used in the product design that enables a lot of concurrent connections. As this product is fully compatible with HTTP(S)/1.1 as well as WebDAV, it is able to support most web servers including Apache, Microsoft IIS, OWA and Sharepoint as well as all web applications such as Joomla, Drupal and OSCommerce.
